Set For Summer 2015

This year I have an amazingly long summer ahead with a 12 week break, I finished exams a few weeks ago and don't start back until September so I want to make this summer worth every minute, making the most of all the time I have to myself and to develop this blog and my work further!

I'm very excited for the new chapter of my life in September as I start college to study exactly what I've been dreaming of for a long time now to get me even closer my dream job in journalism. Of course I'm slightly apprehensive and nervous, to start at a college where there are a whole new group of people around me, but I'm more excited than anything as I will be able to extend my group of friends even more.

I recently sat 14 examinations in order to get the grades I need to get into college to get onto the courses I want to do including English Language, Media and Sociology, so the break away from studying will be much appreciated but at the same time I will be working hard to prepare for college and also in my day job to earn some extra money to fund my summer this year!

WHAT DO I WANT TO DO THIS SUMMER?

  • BBQs and lots of them!
  • Concerts and Gigs - I've already started with 5SOS which I posted a blog post on here
  • City Trips - I'm planning to revisit London again (read about my last visit in my last post) and also hopefully Birmingham and Liverpool as I love the vibrant city life
  • Prom!! I'm on the prom committee at my school this year and prom preparations have got me extremely excited for the big day - I may even do a blog post afterwards all about my experience, hair, make up, travel and of course plenty of pictures!
  • Beach Trips
  • Theme Parks - I may possibly be planning this very soon
  • V-Festival!
  • Parties with friends and family for a number of reasons including birthdays and 'just because'
  • Finish my piercings - I haven't got loads and I don't plan on having an excessive amount because I don't think I can handle the pain but there are just two more I want
  • Most importantly to me... catching up with friends and keeping in close contact with friends I will part ways with now we've finished school
I have already started summer; with a concert, a city trip, several catch up dates with a few of my close friends and a party already complete, but there is so much I still want to do and I am beyond excited to do them all and document every moment on my blog for all of the internet to see! What do you want to do this summer? Who with? Why? Leave a comment below if you want to share!

Until next time, Toni. xo

June London Trip.

It's amazing how much I love this city, honestly I never want to leave! I recently came on a quick trip with a friend for a concert and we decided to make a weekend of it and stay over and spend our day in London shopping and exploring the side streets of Oxford Street and China Town.

I can't say a lot about the day other than we shopped until we dropped - literally dropped into our seats to eat and then continued shopping - but I wanted to post some pictures I managed to capture whilst walking around.

The most beautiful and picturesque city in the world is London for me and I honestly love everything about it, these pictures can never express how much I love the city or the people but I can only hope they can show the unique and vibrant, beautiful lifestyle.

5SOS Concert Wembley - 12/06/2015.

I've been a big fan of the band for a few years now after initially discovering 5 Seconds Of Summer on twitter and Youtube, so to be able to watch them grow as people and as a band with their success and fan base has been amazing.

I've seen them live several times before but this concert on their ROWYSO tour was the best so far, being able to see them perform in Wembley Arena was honestly unbelievable because I never imagined their careers would excel so rapidly. I am unbelievably proud of the boys and what they have achieved so far and I'm excited to see what is yet to come from the once small Australian band, who are now huge and worldwide.

I thought I would do a quick blog post to share some pictures I took at the show and allow myself chance to document and remember this concert forever, as one of the most eye opening for me that success can happen so quickly and in such a life changing way.

I will continue to support and watch the band's shows and videos and tweets develop and grow into even more success as that is all I wish for them.

Until next time, Toni. xo
